Manchester’s latest tapas sensation stays true to its roots by serving fresh Spanish fare comprising of local and authentic Mediterranean ingredients. Cured meats, cheeses and fish dishes play an important role, and there’s a strong focus on top of the range wines to match.
With interiors that are styled around comfort, intimacy and embodying some rustic Spanish character, El Gato Negro champions casual dining with an urban edge. Boasting a three floor spread, this venue has a dedicated bar as well as a charcuterie counter serving a a classic and hand picked spread of Spain’s best cheese and cured meats.
The top floor is dedicated to The Black Cat, El Gato Negro's very own bar where a retractable roof reveals the best of views over Manchester's skyline. Up here is a collection of junkyard cool with antiques, unique furnishings and reclaimed features adding to its distinct character.
